Station Walkthrough
Alpha railway station is accessed from Shakespeare Street, via a gravel driveway. It services passenger trains travelling westbound to Longreach, and eastbound to Rockhampton then down to Brisbane. There is one platform, which is on the southern side of the track. Access to the platform is via a ramp. There is carparking available, including an accessible space.
There is customer seating and a shelter on the platform.
There is no level access to the train itself from the platform. If you require assistance boarding, please inform our staff at the time of booking, and we will be happy to assist you.
