Station Walkthrough
Barcaldine railway station is located on Oak Street (Capricorn Highway). It services passenger trains travelling westbound to Longreach, and eastbound to Rockhampton then down to Brisbane. There is one platform, which is on the southern side of the track. There is a carpark, including an accessible space.
At the station, there are toilets (accessible), customer seating, shelter and a payphone.
At the front of the station is the Tree of Knowledge monument.
There is no level access to the train platform itself. If you need assistance boarding, please let our staff know at the time of booking, and we will be happy to help.
