Gympie North railway station is located to the west of the Bruce Highway on a station access road that comes off Sandy Creek Road. The single platform is on the eastern side of the rail corridor. It services trains travelling southbound to Brisbane, northbound to Rockhampton and Cairns, and westbound to Longreach, as well as trains in the South East Queensland (SEQ) network. There is a carpark at the end of the station access road, including accessible spaces.
You will find several facilities on the platform for your convenience:
- customer seating
- hearing loop
- payphone
- toilets (accessible).
There is a bus stop outside of the station, providing connections to various local destinations.
There is no level access to the train itself from the platform. If you need assistance boarding, please let our staff know at the time of booking, and we will be happy to help.
