Station Walkthrough

Nambour railway station is located between Price Street to the north and Civic Way to the south. The station has an island platform, with train tracks on each side. It services trains travelling southbound to Brisbane, northbound to Rockhampton and Cairns, and west to Longreach. It is also used by passenger trains on the South East Queensland (SEQ) network. The station has a drop off zone on Civic Way, or car parking, including accessible spaces, off Price Street. ? From the carpark on Price Street, the station is accessed through a tunnel under the track. You can get to the tunnel via stairs or a lift. 

Platform 1 is on the northern side of the station, while Platform 2 is on the southern side. You will find the following facilities on the platform: 

  • bike lockers 
  • customer information screen 
  • customer seating
  • customer service window (including long-distance ticket sales)
  • drink fountain
  • hearing loop
  • next train information
  • toilet (accessible and with a baby change table).
  • ticketing and Go-card top-up machine (SEQ services only).

A bus stop and taxi bay are located next to the station on Civic Way, providing connections to various local destinations.
